Say Hello to a Season of Fresh Produce at the Rose City Farmers’ Market Spring Opening

April 1, 2017 9:00 am

When you shop at the Rose City Farmers' Market, you can rest assured that everything in your canvas bag was grown or raised within 75 miles of Tyler. And on Saturday, April 1st at 8 a.m., the beloved local market returns to 7212 Old Jacksonville Highway for the season.

That means it's time to start stocking up on the fresh foods and specialty items sold here. Only the producers themselves are allowed to man the booths at this market, so you'll have no trouble getting any of your questions answered when you shop here. Feel free to inquire about the pest prevention farmers enlist to raise fruits and vegetables or the ingredients that bakers use when they craft bread and pastries. Sustainably raised beef, lamb, chicken, and pork; eggs and goat cheese; honey, jellies, and jams are all on tap at Rose City Farmers' Market too. Will you be stopping by this spring?
